Attends monthly CSUSA Curriculum Cadres.Initiates and maintains effective liaisons with district and professional associations to maintain a current knowledge of Reading and instructional best practices.Collects, analyzes, and reports school and student benchmark data.Assists with the development of school literacy initiatives.Serves as a resource to school administrators and content area teachers in identifying reading needs, adapting instructional techniques, and implementing reading strategies across the curriculum.Facilitates grade level and/or subject area team meetings.Trains new teachers in the use of Student Information System (SIS) and school-based resources and procedures.Demonstrates lessons in classroom situations for observation by teachers.Performs periodic classroom visitations, assists teachers in the improvement of instructional performance, performs periodic binder reviews, and monitors improvement.Develops and conducts in-service training for all teachers regarding the curriculum, researched-based instructional strategies, and best practices.Conducts ongoing staff development, performs periodic classroom visitations, collects and reports quarterly student data, and monitors programs.
